Strawberries & Cream cocktail

Happy Friday!

We made it through another week now we can sit back and enjoy this yummy cocktail. Today's cocktail comes from a pin by Cake'n'knife. Thank you for this new recipe that will be added to my favorite weekend cocktails!

When you have Strawberries and cream in the name you can't go wrong. This is my favorite combination of flavors and always enjoy anything with them. Hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I do.

Strawberries & Cream Cocktail
Ingredients
  • 2 oz strawberry vodka
  • 1½ oz whipped vodka
  • 2 strawberries, thinly sliced (plus extra for garnish)
  • Soda water
Directions
  • In a shaker, add ice and both vodkas. Shake vigorously and set aside.

  • Muddle the sliced strawberries in the bottom of a glass. Fill the glass with ice and top with the vodka mixture. Stir gently to incorporate the muddled strawberries throughout and top with soda water
**it's up to you on how much soda water to add stronger flavor less of the soda. More of a weak vodka flavor more soda. I like my drinks on the weaker side it's all about you preference in taste.**

  1. Cheers!

Mommy Frappé

Sorry I'm a day late on this one. But like they always say better late then never! Tonight is a good one. Who's a coffee lover? I can't go a day with out coffee and this recipe puts a fun twist to that cup of coffee. And that twist is whipped cream vodka...yummy!
When I was making this cocktail off Pinterest there was no directions :( so I was just guessing what to do. For no directions I have to say it turned out still pretty yummy.

Mommy Frappé:
  • Starbucks flavored coffee (I did Carmel)
  • 1-2 shots of whipped cream vodka (all depends on how strong I only did one shot in a 11 oz coffee and I could not taste it)
  • Ice

Pour everything into the blinder. Add ice to your preference and blend well. That's it simple!

If you are going for your favorite Starbucks drink it's easy. I Used to be an barista before becoming a mommy (love this job so much better!)
Carmel macchiato you will want a vanilla flavor coffee topped with carmel drizzle. For a stronger carmel flavor try carmel vodka instead of whip cream.
Mocha you will use plain coffee in the jar and add chocolate sauce.

Cotton Candy Splash

Good evening!

This week's cocktail is perfect for the summer time at the pool or great to make for the many cookouts coming up. The pink lemonade just makes this drink for me. I'm not going to lie I don't know why this drink is called Cotton Candy splash it doesn't remind me of cotton candy but it was still yummy just needs a new name.

This recipe went to a recipe but nothing for an adult drink. But I wasn't going to let that stop me I decided to just pour and see how it tastes.

Cotton Candy Splash:
  • Pink lemonade (if you want to make a skinny version the crystal light pink lemonade would work too)
  • Vanilla Vodka

In my small 8oz glass I used the whole little shooter. It's up to you on how strong you want this drink.

Cheers!

Rum Root Beer Float

Happy Friday!!!

For this weeks cocktail it's perfect for the summer. Everyone loves root beer floats but this drink takes it to the next step. This recipe comes from Squidoo who has some other awesome great recipes using Rumchata that I keep seeing on Pinterest.

This drink was just like drinking a root beer made of ice cream. It was creamy and you didn't have to worry about getting a brain freeze that comes with many delicious floats. Definitely will be making these more often this summer.

The recipe is all up to your taste of how you want to make this drink. You can have a 1:1 ratio for a stronger drink or you can have 2 root beer 1 rum (which is what I did for my drink) it's all on your taste preference. Serve over ice and your ready to sip away on your adult version of root beer float

*With this recipe you want to make sure that you only use A&W root beer or Dad's because others may cause the Rumchata to curdle.

  • Root beer (A&W or Dad's)
  • Rumchata
Cheers!
